Strolling the streets of Getsemani and the Old Town is a cultural activity in and of itself.
But there's plenty more to keep you busy during your stay. For culture vultures and culinary fans there are market visits and cooking classes, cultural and historical walking tours.
For shopaholics, Cartagena offers some of the easiest and most diverse shopping, encompassing national classics (coffee and emeralds) and the all important... fashion, darling.
